I often refer to my favorite movie "Lady Sings the Blues" because Billy Holiday seemed such a woman on the edge of greatness who could never get over her desire to belong, feel true love or appreciation and in the end her sadness was her demise.
Today, I feel wounded. Somedays life seems hard. I couldn't think of a more perfect song.
Hoping tomorrow is better.
This is like one of the old time fav movies of mine. I remember watching it with my Grandmother and Billy Dee Williams was like the Denzel Washington of those times. Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteI hope tomorrow gets better for you too. I know exactly how you feel, I have been going around feeling exactly the same way, I try to hide it from the world, but I have more, I will say, "sad moments" then good moments.
